Origin
OkeyMeta Ltd was founded in 2022 by a small group of self-taught engineers and dreamers in Osogbo, Nigeria. What began as a 17-year-old's experiment in the Nigerian tech ecosystem has grown into a research lab and product studio shipping serious infrastructure to the world.
We work across foundation modelling (the SSAILM family), agentic systems (OkeyAI), and developer-facing platforms — proving that frontier AI does not have to be built in San Francisco to matter.
