Privacy at OkeyMeta.

We build foundation models, agentic AI, and developer infrastructure. Trust is the product. This page explains what we collect, why, and the controls you have. It applies to okeymeta.com.ng, our subdomains, and our products (OkeyAI, the AI Platform, SSAILM, and the Developer API).

1. The short version

  • We collect the minimum data needed to run our services.
  • We do not sell your data and we do not run third-party advertising trackers.
  • You can reject non-essential cookies at any time without losing core functionality.
  • You can request access to, export of, or deletion of your personal data.

2. Information we collect

Account information. When you sign in to a product (e.g. OkeyAI), we store your email, display name, and any profile details you choose to provide.

Content you create. Prompts, conversations, files, and other content you submit to our products. We use this to operate the service and, where applicable, to improve model quality — see "Training" below.

Usage data. Pages visited, features used, approximate device type, referrer, and coarse geographic region (country-level). On marketing pages we keep this anonymous.

Reading analytics. If you accept analytics cookies, we count unique reads per article using a randomly generated identifier stored in your browser. We do not link this to your account on marketing pages.

Communications. If you email us or apply for a role, we keep that correspondence to respond and to maintain hiring records.

3. How we use information

  • To operate, secure, and improve our products.
  • To respond to support, sales, and recruiting inquiries.
  • To detect abuse, fraud, and policy violations.
  • To meet legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
  • With your consent, to measure which content is useful to readers.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We use two categories of cookies:

Strictly necessary. Authentication, session continuity, security, and load-balancing. Always on.

Analytics (opt-in). An anonymous identifier used to count unique reads on articles and to debug performance. Off by default until you accept.

You can change your choice at any time by clearing site data, or by contacting us at privacy@okeymeta.com.ng.

5. Training and model improvement

We do not train foundation models on the contents of your private conversations or files without an explicit, separate opt-in. Aggregated, de-identified usage signals (latencies, error rates, retention) may inform product improvements.

If you participate in research previews, the consent flow for that program governs how your inputs may be used.

6. Sharing and processors

We share information only with vetted processors that help us run the service: cloud infrastructure, database hosting, email delivery, error monitoring, and customer support tools. Each is bound by a written data-processing agreement.

We may disclose information to comply with valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of OkeyMeta, our users, or the public.

7. International transfers

OkeyMeta is headquartered in Nigeria and operates globally. Where data crosses borders, we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards consistent with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA), the EU/UK GDPR, and other applicable laws.

8. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes described here. Account data lives until you delete the account. Analytics records are retained for up to 24 months. Backups are rotated and overwritten on a fixed schedule.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: access your data, correct it, export it in a machine-readable format, restrict or object to certain processing, and request deletion. Submit requests to privacy@okeymeta.com.ng. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

10. Security

We use industry-standard controls — encryption in transit and at rest, least-privilege access, audit logging, and routine penetration testing. No system is perfectly secure; if you discover a vulnerability, please disclose it responsibly to security@okeymeta.com.ng.

11. Children

Our products are not directed to children under 13 (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from them.

12. Changes to this policy

We will post material changes here and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in product. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
